Textile Printing

The Martex Range of Pigment Dispersions and Auxiliaries are specially designed to enable Textile Printers ( large and small ) to produce printed fabric as economically as possible but at the same time giving a very profesional finish to the fabric which is well received throughout the Clothing Industry world wide.
Martex Aqua Colours are aqueous dispersions of selected organic pigments. Generally they have very good fastness properties and specific selections may be made to meet the needs in different areas of the Industry eg Furnishings or Apparrel.
Printing with Martex Aqua Colours means that the Textile Printer does not need to use the normal wet processes such as steaming and washing involved in printing with conventional dyestuffs.
Printing with Martex Aqua Colours involves three simple steps ie:

Printing                      Drying                         Curing

Martex Emulsion TI

Martex Emulsion TI is a ready to use Textile Cut Clear suitable for printing a wide variety of cotton and cotton / synthetic fabrics both woven and knitted.
Martex Emulsion TI is designed for use on Hand and Automatic Textile Printing Machines including flat and rotary machines.
Martex Emulsion TI is a white spirits based emulsion containing 15% Fixative NSF along with several other Auxiliaries to give extreemely good running, handle and fastness properties.
Martex Emulsion may be used as supplied with up to 5% Martex Aqua Colour ( or 15% Martex Fluorescent Colour ). For stronger shades addition of Fixative NSF and / or Accelerator TD is recommended. As a guide line we suggest 3 parts of Fixative NSF for 1 part of Martex Aqua Colour . However the substrate can have a marked effect on the fastness especially wash and crock fastness. We advise suitable testing before bulk printing of fabric. On synthetic fabric where good fastness is required Martex Hifast Binder should be used in place of Martex Emulsion TI.
After printing the fabric should be dried and then cured  by passing through a hot oven at 150*c for 4 minutes. ( Please refer to Drying and Curing ).
