Martex Aqua Colours are aqueous dispersions of organic pigments designed for Textile Printing.
Martex Aqua Colours are high strength dispersions and are reduced in strength using Martex Emulsion
TI. The resultant print pastes may be mixed to produce any desired shade. Print Pastes in excess
of 4% will require the addition of Martex Fixative NSF or Martex Accelerator TD to achieve maximum

Martex Fluorescent Colours
Martex Fluorescent Colours are aqueous dispersions of resins which have been coated with basic dyes.
Martex Fluorescent Colours are designed for Textile Printing and are reduced in strength using Martex
Emulsion TI to produce the required shade. Martex Fluorescent Colours have low colour yield and print
pastes between 10% and 20% in strength are normally used. Martex Fluorescent Colours have good fastness
properties with the exception of light fastness which is poor. Please contact Customer Enquiries

Martex Glitter Colours
Martex Glitter Colours are dry flakes colours produced from coated polyester film. Martex Glitter
Colours are mixed into Martex Glitter Binder at between 10% and 20% concentration. The resultant print
pastes may be mixed to produce a wide range of shades for Textile Printing. A coarse mesh screen (

Martex Metallic Powders
Martex GOLD and SILVER are available in powder form only. The Martex Powders are added to
Martex Binder G30 at 20% by weight to produce print pastes for Textile Printing. Martex Gold and
Silver Powders are easily oxidised and the prepared print pastes have a limited shelf life. We recommend
the print pastes should be mixed and used on the same day. Please contact Customer Enquiries for

Martex Pearlprint
Martex Pearlprint is a ready to use Textile Print Paste giving a fashionable and novel pearlised
effect on textile fabrics. Martex Aqua Colours may be added to Martex Pearlprint to produce a wide

Martex Foamprint
Martex Foamprint HR is a ready to use concentrated aqueous based polymer package designed for use
in Textile Printing. After printing, drying and heat curing the printed film expands and forms a
microcellular foamed structure which is unusual and decorative. Martex Foamprint HR may be applied
to those fabrics on which conventional textile pigment printing systems are used. Printing may be accomplished
by rotary or flat bed printing machines. Martex Foamprint HR should be used with minimum dilution
to achieve maximum impact and effect. The appearance of the final foam printed fabric may be modified
by the addition of Martex Aqua Colour to the Martex Foamprint HR before printing.
Martex Colorbrite
Martex Colorbrite is an aqueous dispersion of inorganic pigments blended with acrylic latticies to
produce a ready to use base which gives a Discharge effect when printed on textile fabrics. Martex
Colorbrite is used in conjunction with Martex Aqua Colours to produce interesting Discharge effects
even on deep dyed fabrics. Martex Colorbrite offers a more economical method of producing Discharge
effects when compared to Martex Flexi White HV. For best effects we recommend the use of screens
of 40 mesh or less when printing with Martex Colorbrite.
